With a passion for service and a commitment to the community, Jay Ziolkowski proudly balances his professional life as the Assistant Chief of Administration and Planning at the Unified Fire Authority with his dedication to family and outreach initiatives. He has been married to Kristy for 28 wonderful years. They cherish their four children and one grandchild, who inspire them daily.
As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jay serves as a counselor in his ward's bishopric. His involvement with the Taylorsville Exchange Club enriches his community service experience, and his service on the Family Support Center's Board of Directors allows him to advocate for families in need across Salt Lake City. Jay holds a BGS in Management from Brigham Young University and graduated from the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer program. He also holds two associate degrees in Fire Science from Utah Valley University. Jay's journey has been fueled by an unwavering belief that we can build stronger communities through compassion, collaboration, and leadership. |
